Glow-in-the-dark volleyball, great friends, lots of laughter, and the light of the Holy Spirit made for an unforgettable evening!
Our 7th–12th grade students from Great Adventure Youth Group recently gathered for an exciting night of Glow in the Dark Volleyball! With colorful lights, glowing accessories, and plenty of friendly competition, the gym came alive as students enjoyed intense volleyball games, shared lots of laughs, and spent time building friendships.
But the evening was about more than just glowing volleyballs and neon lights. It was also an opportunity to explore what it means to LIVE AGLOW in the Holy Spirit!
Just as the bright colors lit up the dark gym, we are called to let the light of Christ shine through us in our everyday lives. Together, our youth reflected on how the Holy Spirit works in our hearts, guiding us through gentle nudges, meaningful “circles,” and unexpected graces.
Sometimes God’s guidance comes in quiet moments, through conversations with friends, or in situations that encourage us to grow in faith. Learning to recognize and respond to those moments helps us deepen our relationship with Christ and become a light to others.
The message of the night was simple: We don’t have to be standing under a blacklight to GLOW! When we open our hearts to the Holy Spirit, His light can shine through us wherever we go.
What a wonderful evening of faith, fellowship, and fun!
A big thank-you to everyone who helped make the night possible and to all the students who joined us.
Keep shining, Great Adventure! Let the Holy Spirit’s light shine brightly through you!
