St. Joseph Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul | Rice Lake
Our Mission
A network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.
Our Core Values
- Spirituality
- Friendship
- Service
Who We Are
- As a reflection of the whole family of God, members, known as Vincentians, come together from every age, every race, and every income level, who share our blessings of time, talent, and treasure with those who need help and hope. Organized locally, Vincentians witness God’s love by embracing all works of charity and justice. We make no distinction in those we serve because, in them, Vincentians see the face of Christ.
- We are women and men who seek personal holiness through work of charity. We join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to neighbors in need.
- Our vocation is to follow Christ through service to people in need, bearing witness to His love.
- We don’t provide handouts; we create and nurture relationships with those we serve.
“No form of charity is foreign to the Society”-Blessed Frederic Ozanam
