As the end of summer comes to a close, we reflect on the many things we are grateful for. We are thankful for the time spent with family and friends doing the activities that summer brings… camping, hiking, lake days and gatherings with those who draw not only us, but our families closer to God.
The change of seasons though, brings about the reality of busy days ahead! The new school year is about to start. Religious education classes will be starting. New groups of kids will be preparing for sacraments and all of the activities we seem to take a break from over the summer are all back on the calendar. This seems like a lot, almost overwhelming, but this reminds us of the incredible community of our Four Parishes and what a blessing it is to be a part of it!
It truly takes our whole community of vibrant, faithful people to help our children and us adults for that matter, become who God created us all to be. How amazing it is to know that we are not alone on our journey in faith and that we are surrounded by so many disciples of Christ willing to walk along with us.
