Troy Birkenmeier is the assistant bookkeeper for the Four Parishes, One Faith Catholic Community. He has a bachelor’s degree in business. Troy grew up in Rice Lake, attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School through 8th grade and received his sacraments at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

After high school Troy served 4 years in the Marine Corps with 2 deployments overseas. In 2012 Troy had a reversion to the faith while going through a difficult period in his life. If you’re curious, ask Troy and he’ll tell you all about it. Troy’s reversion story is an amazing story of God’s love and mercy.

In 2022 Troy moved back to Rice Lake and was quickly “welcomed home” in the Rice Lake family of parishes. The people of our Four Parishes, One Faith community have become Troy’s new family and there is nowhere else he would rather be.

In 2024, Troy married Dorothy and tricked her into moving to Wisconsin. He might have embellished a little about how beautiful and warm the winters are here. I think Dorothy has forgiven me for that…
