Andre is our Director of Worship at Four Parishes One Faith!

He grew up in Rice Lake and graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School, where he met his wife, Katelyn, in preschool. He began playing piano for Mass in the sixth grade and continued to be involved in music ministry at several different parishes. After many years as a political science professor, Andre is excited to return to his home church and community, dedicating himself to serving the Lord in music and liturgy full-time. He and Katelyn have two wonderful children, Linus and Marielle.

Andre earned his BA in Political Science and Justice and Peace Studies from the University of St. Thomas, and an MA and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame.

Music has always been a central part of his hobbies. Andre also has a passion for learning and embracing his inner nerd. Most of all, he cherishes the time spent with his family.

Returning home to a place that was so foundational for Andre’s development fills him with excitement. Becoming an active part of the community that had such a lasting impact on him personally, socially, and spiritually is a dream come true. St. Joe’s has always felt like home, and Andre is incredibly grateful to be here with his family. Andre is looking forward to beginning this new journey of learning and growing alongside the parish and discovering what’s next for his family!
