Emily and Paul Bjugstad Named Catholic Family of the Year

Congratulations to Emily and Paul Bjugstad, who were recently selected as the Catholic Family of the Year by Knights of Columbus Council #9546!

This special recognition honors Emily and Paul for their commitment to their Catholic faith and their generous involvement in both the Church and the greater community. Over the years, they have quietly given countless hours of their time and talents in service to others.

Their involvement has included serving as a Sacristan and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, helping decorate the church, serving in leadership with the Council of Catholic Women (CCW), and assisting with the planning and organization of many of the Knights of Columbus’ major fundraisers. Paul is also a Fourth Degree Knight.

And those are simply the roles that come with titles. Like so many dedicated parish volunteers, much of Emily and Paul’s service happens behind the scenes, wherever an extra set of hands, a little organization, or a willingness to help is needed.

Emily and Paul shared that they are very honored to receive this recognition. Their example is a wonderful reminder that a vibrant Catholic community is built not only through the ministries we see each week, but also through the many quiet acts of service that often go unnoticed.

Congratulations to Emily and Paul Bjugstad on being named the Catholic Family of the Year, and thank you for the many ways you continue to serve the Church and our community!
