It’s the 25th Anniversary!

By Krystal Montgomery & Roland Flasch

This past week, we joyfully celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Our Lady of Lourdes Perpetual Adoration Chapel at Dobie — a quarter-century of uninterrupted prayer, silent worship, and intimate encounters with the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

Since its humble beginnings in 2000, the chapel has stood as a sacred space where hearts have been healed, vocations have been discerned, burdens have been lifted, and peace has been restored. It has offered solace in times of sorrow and strength in times of trial, reminding us that Jesus waits patiently for each of us, day and night, in the Eucharist.

Perpetual Adoration is a profound witness to our Catholic faith — a testament to our belief that Christ is truly present, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, in the Eucharist. The chapel has been sustained by the quiet faithfulness of countless adorers over the years, many of whom have come week after week, hour after hour, to simply “be with Him.” To them, we owe our deepest gratitude.

As we give thanks for the blessings of the past 25 years, we also look forward with hope. The mission of the chapel is not complete; Jesus still calls each of us to deeper communion with Him.

Have you ever considered becoming an adorer? Whether you can commit to a weekly hour or serve as a substitute when needed, your “yes” helps ensure that the chapel remains a place of constant prayer. You don’t need eloquent prayers or perfect holiness — just a willing heart.

To learn more or to sign up for an hour, please contact the Adoration Hotline at 715-296-4279 or check our website for more information.

Let us continue to honor Our Lady of Lourdes by drawing ever closer to her Son in the Blessed Sacrament. May the next 25 years be filled with even more grace, devotion, and love.

“Could you not keep watch with Me for one hour?” (Matthew 26:40)

Let us answer with a joyful and faithful yes.
