Hearts Ignited at Steubenville Conference

This past weekend, a group of high school students from our Four Parishes had an incredible opportunity to attend the Steubenville Youth Conference in Rochester, Minnesota. Alongside more than a thousand other young Catholics from across the region, they encountered the Lord in a powerful and deeply personal way.
Throughout the weekend, our students were immersed in dynamic worship and engaging talks from nationally recognized speakers about what consumes us. For many of us who have attended, this transformative experience helps to rekindle the faith, strengthen our relationship with Christ, and deepen our understanding of what it means to live as a disciple in today's noisy world.
Perhaps the highlight of the entire conference was the Eucharistic Adoration on Saturday night. With over a thousand teens in prayer, Jesus made His presence known in a way that words can barely describe. The atmosphere in the arena is not of this world!
We are so grateful for our youth and their zeal for the Lord. It was evident we all came away from the weekend not only renewed in our faith but also inspired to bring that same love and joy back to our parish community. Please continue to pray for these young people – that the fire ignited during this conference may continue to grow and flourish in their hearts like wildfire.
Also, a heartfelt thank you to the chaperones, volunteers, and generous donors who made this trip possible. Your support truly makes a difference in the lives of our youth.
Do not lose hope – God is truly at work in this generation! May we, as a parish community, continue to walk with our young people and help them become the saints they are called to be.
