After years of faithful priestly ministry among us, the time has come to say a grateful farewell to our beloved priests Fr. Adam, Fr. Isaiah and Fr. Phil. We invite all parishioners to gather together on Saturday, June 27, beginning with the 4:30 pm Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, followed immediately by a farewell celebration in the church basement.
Details at a Glance
Date: Saturday, June 27
Mass: 4:30 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church
Gathering: Immediately following Mass in the church basement
What to bring: A side dish to share (grilled chicken, lemonade, and water provided); a lawn chair if you plan to enjoy the outdoors
This is a moment to do what Catholic communities do best: come together around the table, break bread, and give thanks. Grilled chicken, lemonade, and water will be provided. We ask that you bring a side dish to share as part of this potluck meal, so that everyone has a hand in the celebration.
If the weather cooperates, we will spill outside for fellowship, lawn games, and a little extra joy. The playground will be open for children, so families are more than welcome. Those planning to enjoy the outdoors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
More than a party, this gathering is an act of gratitude. Our priests have offered their lives in service to this community, celebrating the sacraments, walking with us in our joys and sorrows, and pointing us always toward Christ. It is a privilege to send them forth with our prayers and our love.
We hope to see you there. Come to Mass, stay for the meal, and help us give these dedicated men the sendoff they deserve. May God continue to bless them richly in the next chapter of ministries that lie ahead.
