Hey! You Are Invited!

Jesus says if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move trees. Have you ever moved a tree? If not, why not? When someone encourages you to try something new, it is an invitation to step out of your comfort zone and give it a try.

Think of the many things you have tried over the years. Each time someone or something invited you to try it. You got a little training, maybe a practice run, but you stepped out of your comfort zone and did it. Know what? You probably didn’t do all that well at it either. Now think of the many things you do now. They all started with that first step. And as you practiced and got better and more proficient, you succeeded. Congratulations!

Jesus invites you today to increase your faith. How do you do that? The same way the apostles did. They spent time with Jesus. They listened to His words. He taught them to pray. And most importantly, they came to believe Jesus as the Son of God.

Where are you in this program? Still learning about Jesus? Great, continue to study. Listening to His words? Awesome, keep reading the Bible. Working on your prayer life? Then evaluate what you are praying. Are your prayers right for you or are they just memorized? Are you just going through the motions or are they lifting your soul to God? If not, ask Jesus for guidance in prayer. And as you take these first steps you will find your faith will mature and grow.

Hey! You have been invited!

May the Lord bless you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
