Here are links to our readings for the day:

Lord I Am Not Worthy

What great faith the centurion exhibited. The centurion was in charge of one hundred men, a true position of leadership. This hardened soldier saw the leadership qualities in Jesus.

What? Jesus was not dressed as a soldier. He did not look like a leader. It is amazing that a pagan soldier recognizes something special in Jesus and it was not from his outward appearances. It makes we wonder. Do people recognize you as Catholic? Without a rosary or a crucifix, would someone say I can tell you are a Catholic?

Probably more importantly does Jesus recognize you as His disciple. What do you do that people realize you are a Catholic? How do they respond to you?

This Advent we look for the coming of Christ. Lord I am not worthy that you enter under my roof but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

There is time for confession each Monday night starting at 6:00. December 7 at Advent Adoration we will have additional priests available. Please plan to attend.

May the Lord bless you in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen
