Here are links to our readings for the day:

Reflecting God’s Love

We should all be aware that we are not talking about communism or suggesting a similar system. Rather we are reading about like-minded people coming together because of common interests or goals.

First century converts were beginning to understand the message of God’s love for them and how they were to love one another. As they grow in God’s love, they will begin to take it out to the world. They discover that with new converts teaching and formation must begin at the beginning. This process is repeated multiple times.

There will be those who disagree with the teachings of Christ. That is alright, we will pray for them. But those who choose to deceive and create division God will determine their fate. We who believe discover from the actions of God how we are to live our lives. We are not to gossip and not to be busybodies. We are to love others, helping them to find God’s joy. We are to be busy about our duties and not worry about others.

God’s peace and joy is to be reflected in all we do.

May the Lord bless you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.  Amen
