God’s Love Conquers All

Mary Magdalene and the other Mary encounter Jesus as they leave the tomb. They reached for His feet and worshipped Him.

Before the resurrection their minds were being formed to accept Jesus as God. He had done so many wondrous things that they had witnessed. More than signs and miracles it was the words He spoke. And they listened and His words began to change their hearts. They were experiencing a new love. A love that all of us must have with our God.

When God became man, He helped us to understand how to love a God. When God became man, He helped us to learn to love one another. Man can now recognize the divinity within himself, his soul created by God. This divinity yearns to return to its creator.

First our souls must guide us to the infinite love. But our bodies fight this yearning. Our worldly desires become too much. But the love of God conquers all, even death. May you have a joyful, full week of Easter celebration.

May the Lord bless you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.  Amen
