Memorize This

We should all memorize this verse:

Jesus said to his disciples:
“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.”

“Stop judging and you will not be judged.
Stop condemning and you will not be condemned.
Forgive and you will be forgiven.”

Can we do this? What a different place this world would be if we were merciful. Mercy comes from a heart of love, a love that accepts all people with no distinction for class, color, creed.  No judgment.

We shall not condemn. Jesus is our judge, and He grants mercy. Notice only the devil condemns us by our sins. Jesus loves us by name. Our sins are forgiven. We have been granted salvation.

May the Lord bless you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
