Please share with your family and friends!

Thank you –

Dear Fathers, Parish Directors, Parish Life Coordinators, Deacons, Lay Leaders/Business Administrators, Sisters and Staff,

May the blessings of Easter continue to fill your hearts and give you strength and courage as we continue our journey through this most unprecedented time in our life.

As you hopefully already know, the Presidents of the USCCB and the Canadian Catholic Conference of Bishops will be doing a prayer of Renewal of the Consecration of the United States and Canada to the care and protection of Our Blessed Mother Mary.  Archbishop Jose Gomez, President of the USCCB will be doing a Renewal of the Consecration of the United States to the care and protection of Our Blessed Mother on Friday, May 1, at 2:00 p.m. our time.  I invite each of you to join me in re-consecrating the parish(es) you serve, as I join with Archbishop Gomez in the Renewal of the Consecrating the Diocese of Superior to the care and protection of Our Blessed Mother.  I also invite you to encourage your parishioners to join in consecrating their families to the care and protection of Our Blessed Mother.

The three attachments with this email, first, include an invitation to participate in this sacred event, with a link to the Archdiocese of Los Angles’ service (also here https://lacatholics.org/consecration/) and to the USCCB’s live streaming the Renewal (also here http://www.usccb.org/consecration).  The other two attachments are copies of the worship aid, one in English the other in Spanish (hover over word to also view worship aid).  I wish we had more advanced notice of this blessed event so we could have done a better job of advertising it.  I hope you will do all you can to inform those you serve of the May 1, 2020 prayer service and how they can all participate.

Mary Mother of God pray for us, now and at the hour of our death.  Amen.

Sincerely yours through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother and Jesus her son, the Risen Christ.
